A long overdue update

It's been just over a year since my last update to this blog.

I'm travelling now with Manu and crew on the Hare Krishna Youth Bus Tour.

We're in Atlanta, our first stop where we've been readying our
performances for the summer festival circuit as well as getting to
know everyone.

I have many reasons for coming. I've always felt most at home at our
Hare Krishna festivals, singing and dancing and putting on
performances. It's when I most feel alive.

The kids participating in these festivals are the real motivation and
inspiration for all the work that I'm doing and the interests I have
in the areas of media and public relations, social development, ISKCON
management, festival outreach, cultural presentations, etc.

They are the most talented, intelligent and beautiful people I know,
and it's really the most valueable thing I can think of to do, is to
attempt to assist them in their efforts to live by this culture of
devotion and help it flourish in their daily lives.

Krsna is reciprocating so much it's miraculous. I've been receiving so
many miracles in my life the past month that I can say for certain
that there is a wonderful plan in store for all of us.

A gentleman called the temple, and I randomly answered the phone. It
turns out he works with artists like Anushka Shankar and other
classical indian artists who are contemporaries of George Harrison. He
wants to organize a tour with the Hare Krishna's, and has been meeting
with me to help brainstorm the effort.

I'm not sure where things will go or how it will unfold, but I'm just
hoping and praying that somehow or other I can be an instrument to
help these gurukuli's present their beautiful hearts expressions,
through their music, dance, theater, talks, and interactions with the
world.

When we stick our neck out for Krsna, He promises to carry what we
lack and preserve what we have.

So in this way I'm putting my everything on this boat and going with
it full steam ahead. Crash or Fly, it's up to Krsna.

(:

I'll be posting as often as possible. I have a new camera now, so I'll
be posting images/movies soon.

Sometimes I'm confused about certain circumstances... but Krsna has
never let me down. I've always been given an opportunity to render
some devotional service, which brings new life to any rainy evening.

I sincerely pray to be of real genuine service to these Vaisnava's, my
Spiritual Master, and Srila Prabhupada. I'm depending wholly on their
mercy for success, and have no doubts that it will come to pass in a
most extraordinary way.

(: See I told you everything's ecstatic!

"This is love. And if God accepts your offerings, then what more do
you want? He becomes your most intimate friend. If you make God your
intimate friend, then there is nothing wanted. You'll be fulfilled.
You'll find that "I have got everything." And if we become convinced
that Krsna is my protector, then how much happy and peaceful we will
be. Offer something. Just be in love with Him. Then just see how much
peaceful you feel. How much tranquility you feel and how you are
protected by Krsna, how you avoid insufficiency, how you become pure,
and how you make progress in spiritual life." - His Divine Grace Srila
